Resurrection Eggs

I was so excited when I discovered these this year!  Resurrection Eggs are a fun teaching tool that can be used with the story told in Benjamin’s Box, or alone, to tell the beautiful story of Easter.  There are a total of twelve eggs, and each one contains a little trinket that serves as a physical tool to help tell the story of Jesus’s journey from when he rode into the town on a donkey, to when his tomb was found empty.  I used the Resurrection Eggs with the book the first time I read it to my children, and I was amazed at how much more detail they remembered.  In fact, when using the eggs, they were able to recount the story all by themselves!
