2009 Krohn Conservatory Butterfly Exhibit

This year, at the Krohn Conservatory, the butterfly exhibit celebrated butterflies from India.  Our family enjoys going to this exhibit immensley!  We started this tradition last year here and here (yes, we went twice!), in which the butterflies were from China.

One of the things I like to do is visit the library first in order to get a few books on the topic of butterflies.  We learned about the life cycle of the butterfly, as well as some of their different characteristics.  We even found a few books that were fun reads involving butterflies.

This year, I completely forgot that we had our guest Oopsy Bear to bring along (that is why there are no pics of Oopsy there)……. PLEASE forgive me!

  1. This is in Cincy? Oh, I wanna go!!! We just might add this to our field trip list this summer.

  2. Yes, it is, but only for a limited time. Check the website to see when it is over. I think it goes until sometime in June.

  3. What a neat field trip idea! I wish there was something like that close to us!
